MONITORS THE STATUS OF HARDWARE COMPONENTS OF THE EQUIPMENT
The RM7840E1016 relay module checks the polarity of the purge card to prevent time slippage and circuit failures. It also checks if the configuration switches and hardware components are corrupted. The power led flashes every 4 seconds to indicate that the hardware test is in progress.
TEST LOGIC
This test checks the tightness of all critical loads, terminals 8, 9, 10 and 21. If loads are not energized correctly; for example, a voltage is applied to the main valve stem during purging, the RM7840E1016 will be locked when performing a safe shutdown. The RM7840E1016 responds to changes on the input signal and at the same time prevents false tripping. The signals are processed at the input of the voltage line to ensure proper operation under normal electrical noise conditions (e.g. voltage surges). Signal processing is insensitive to synchronous noise (line noise occurring simultaneously during each line cycle).
DYNAMIC AMPLI-CHECK™
Scheme of dynamic tests AMPLI-CHECK™ checks the operation of the amplifier of the working flame during burner operation and shuts rm7840e1016 in case of failure of the amplifier.
Dynamic test of amplifier and flame DAMPERS
When the circuit is self-diagnosed, all electronic components of the flame detection system are checked 12 times per minute and if an error is detected, RM7840E1016 is switched off.
INPUT DYNAMIC TEST
All system input circuits are checked to ensure that the RM7840E1016 is capable of correctly detecting the status of external controls, limiters and locks. If a failure is detected during this test, a protective shutdown occurs and an error message is displayed.
DYNAMIC TESTING OF PROTECTIVE RELAYS
The ability of the dynamic protection relay to open and close is checked. It also checks whether critical loads, terminals 8, 9, 10 and 21 can be deactivated by dynamic self-test logic if necessary.
DYNAMIC SELF-DIAGNOSIS OF PROTECTIVE CIRCUIT
The microcomputer tests and the corresponding equipment while the protective relay system tests the operation of the microcomputer. In the event of a microcomputer failure or a protective relay that prevents the normal self-test procedure, a safe shutdown will occur and the critical load will be shut down.
