CONTROLS THE STATE OF THE HARDWARE COMPONENTS OF THE EQUIPMENT
The RM7896D1027 relay module checks the polarity of the purge card to prevent time slippage and circuit failures. It also checks if configuration switches and hardware components are damaged. The POWER led blinks every 4 seconds, which is an indication that the equipment test is running.
TEST LOGIC
This test checks the integrity of all critical loads, terminals 8, 9, 10 and 21. If the loads are not properly energized; for example, a voltage is applied to the main valve terminal during PURGING, the RM7896D1027 will be locked when performing a safe shutdown. RM7896D1027 responds to changes at the input and at the same time prevents false tripping. Signals are processed at the input of the voltage line to ensure proper operation under normal electrical noise conditions (e.g. voltage surges). Signal processing is insensitive to synchronous noise (line noise occurring at the same time during each line cycle).
DYNAMIC AMPLI-CHECK™
Dynamic test circuit AMPLI-CHECK™ checks the operation of the amplifier of the working flame during burner operation and shuts RM7896D1027 failure of the amplifier.
Dynamic testing of AMPLIFIER AND FLAME DAMPERS
When the self-test circuit 12 times per minute tested all the electronic system components and flame detection in the event of an error RM7898A1000 is disabled.
DYNAMIC TEST INPUT
All input circuits on the system are tested to ensure that the RM7896D1027 is capable of correctly detecting the status of external controls, limiters, and locks. If any failure is detected during this testing, a protective shutdown occurs and an error message is displayed.
DYNAMIC TEST OF PROTECTIVE RELAY
The ability of the dynamic protection relay to open and close is checked. It also checks whether critical loads, terminals 8, 9, 10 and 21 can be de-energized by the dynamic self-test logic if necessary.
DYNAMIC SELF-TEST OF THE PROTECTIVE CIRCUIT
The microcomputer tests itself and the corresponding equipment while the protective relay system tests the microcomputer operation. In the event of a microcomputer or protective relay failure that prevents the normal self-test procedure, a safe shutdown will occur and the critical load will be de-energized.
